Level 1 Certfication
CrossFit Olympic Lifting Certification
CrossFit Power Lifting Certification
I love to exercise. I’ll be honest; I have always loved to exercise. I am not very good at sports which require special or specific skills and I have poor endurance, but I do love to exercise. So, when I met a woman at the fitness center at work that told me about this thing called CrossFit that was a bunch of different varieties of exercise all in one, I was immediately intrigued and had to try it. It was a new gym opening downtown; I went and became one of their first members (the Originals) in April 2011. There was no turning back. Soon I was reading articles, watching videos, looking for books, and never satisfied with enough information about CrossFit so I thought why not take the L1 certification course. I did in October 2011, began coaching in January 2012 (after some additional training), and quickly realized that the only thing I love more than working out myself is coaching others. Soon I decided I needed more development of my ability to teach Olympic lifting, so I pursued the CF Olympic Lifting certification; and I have always loved the fine art of powerlifting, so I went to the CF Powerlifting certification as well. This has been an incredible journey for me. I am constantly amazed at the people I meet, the things I see people achieve, and the ways I see CrossFit change lives – and I look forward to it every day.
